CMG SA 2002 - Johannesburg POSTPONED UNTIL March 2003 This year's CMG SA conference will focus on “Making IT Wide Open End2End”. With technology evolving at a tremendous pace, and organizations having to play “catch-up”, on a continuous basis, it has become critical to ensure that the visibility of IT is wide open with an end-to-end view. As a direct result of the above performance, capacity and management is and will play a more important role, in the foreseeable future. Business is more critical of IT's constant demands for new systems and upgrades and are not prepared to pay for wasted capacity and resources and managers need to focus more on this discipline especially in the areas of open systems (UNIX / NT). This conference, is a must for all technical and managerial staff agendas for 2002. This conference is not just about talking the about concepts of ROI and TCO... but concrete ways of improving systems efficiency and performance potentially saving you organisation millions. Areas covered include mainframes, open system, disk systems, tape, network, SAN's, database and applications.
